LET ME GO (YOU & ME #5)
Intelligence officer, Harper Sawyer is determined to prove herself as an asset to the US Navy. Despite her genius IQ and lingual skills, excelling in a male-dominated field is not always easy. Her life revolves around helping the elite special-ops teams succeed on their missions.
Living his dream as a US Navy SEAL, Petty Officer Kyle Williams has a career he loves and a team that is like family. He doesn’t realize he is missing something until Harper literally falls into his life and turns his world upside down.
However, fraternization rules mean a romantic relationship between Kyle and Harper is forbidden, and being caught could mean the end of their careers. Despite the risk, they embark on a secret romance that will change their lives forever.
Life is full of trials, and their love might not be enough. Sometimes, if you love someone, you have to let them go.
While this book does take readers back in time, it also briefly touches on things that occurred in Hold Me Still and See Me Through. This book is best enjoyed and understood after reading the previous books in the You and Me series.
I grew up with a passion for the written word. I would spend hours reading, and quickly found I loved creating tales. Darkest Light was born when I was 13, and I worked and crafted my story for years, knowing my ultimate dream was to share my stories with the world.
My family, particularly my parents and husband, encouraged me to publish my stories, and I finally decided to pursue my career as an indie author in 2014. Darkest Light was published in 2015, and I gained the confidence to continue sharing my stories while also earning my Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's degree in Creative Writing.
When I am not writing, I am a stay-at-home mom to three handsome boys and one beautiful little girl. I am also a very proud wife to one hunky Coast Guardsman, Cory, who is also working towards his degree in Digital Cinematography. Our ultimate dream is to merge our two passions and create visual stories together!
On the side, I love helping other indie authors share and publish their work. Visit my Indie Corner page to see other awesome work by other independent authors and filmmakers.
